GENERAL USAGE:
Q1: I don’t have a smart phone, can I use this Walkie AI?
A: The device itself do not rely on the smart phone. But it does require a smart phone(or tablet) to help the Walkie AI connect to Wi-Fi internet, all other features and parental stuff can be done within the web browser on any PC or tablet.

Q2:The Walkie AI suddenly started talking by itself. What happened?
A: It can pick up some voice and try to answer, it’s normal.

Q3: Can I use this to call my child? How do I do it?
A: You cannot call the Walkie AI with your phone, but the devices can talk to each other with their Walkie-talkie mode on .

Q4: Why does it seem to not understand the question?
A: It has to answer all questions. If ambiguity words are picked up, wrong answer will be replied.

Q5: I keep pressing the PTT button, but it doesn't respond.
A: Make sure which side the Power Switch is on.
If you are on Walkie-talkie mode, then make sure the devices are on the same channel (lights same color).
If you are on AI mode, the PTT will not function, you can press AI key to activate the AI.

Q6: Can I take it on the plane?
A: Yes, but only carry-on not check-in. As it contains batteries.

Q7: Why do AI features require subscription? Why do some features require extra cost? I have already paid for the devices.
A: Your purchase includes both the cost of the hardware and the cost of using AI.


Q8: The light is flashing red when I turn on AI Mode. Is it broken?
A: No, this is normal! A flashing red light means the device is waiting to connect to the network. You must complete the pairing steps on your phone to turn the light green and start using it.


CONNETION:
Q9: Can it be used outdoors?

Q10: My phone says "Unsecured Network" when connected to "aiwei_ssid".
A: That is okay. Ignore the warning. You are temporarily connecting directly to the toy to give it your home Wi-Fi password. Stay connected to "aiwei_ssid" until the setup screen says "Success".

Q11: Why doesn't my home Wi-Fi appear in the list?
A: This device only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If you are using a 5GHz-only router, the toy may not see it. Please select a standard 2.4GHz network.

Q12: I entered my Wi-Fi password, but it failed to connect.
A: Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive. Click the small "eye" icon next to the password box to see what you typed and ensure it is 100% correct before hitting submit. 
**If you submitted a wrong Wi-Fi password, you will have to restart the device with the Power switch.

Q13: I can't find the device to "Bind" it on the website. What is wrong?
A: You likely skipped a step. After clicking "+" on the website, you must go to your phone's Wi-Fi Settings and connect to the network named "aiwei_ssid". Once your phone is connected to that specific network, go back to the browser to finish setup.

REGISTRATION:
Q14: I entered my email address to get code, but none "Verification Code" came through!
A: Please check the following steps for :
1.Check email address is spelled correctly.
2.Check your "spam" or "promotional email" folder.
3.Please wait for 1-2 minutes. Sometimes there may be a delay with the email.
4.Make sure you have a network connection.
5.If you still don't receive it, please click "Resend", or try to register using another email address.


SAFETY & PRIVACY:
Q15: Is the AI safe for my child to talk to?
A: Yes. We use "Kid-Safe Advanced AI" (based on GPT-4o mini) that filters content to ensure all conversations are age-appropriate and coherent for children.

Q16: Is my child's privacy protected?
A: Yes. We are COPPA compliant (a strict child safety law). We do not sell data to third parties, and you can review or delete your child's information at any time via the parent portal.
